Sales Manager – TelWare Corporation (OneCloud)
About TelWare:
TelWare is a 39-year-old Charlotte-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Managed Service Provider (MSP) company looking for a results-driven, motivated, and energetic sales manager. This senior-level position will manage a team that sells TelWare’s cloud software product (OneCloud), which is a broad range of SaaS products in a B2B environment. This position will be in our Charlotte headquarters office and plays a critical role enabling the sales team in end-to-end operations that deliver bookings growth and reduced customer churn. Must align and collaborate with key stakeholders and business partners across multiple internal and external functions and organizations.
Job Summary:
As a key member in the sales leadership team, the Sales Manager is responsible for building and leading a team of salespeople to help drive revenue, build, and implement sales and marketing strategies, and own critical operational processes. This person must motivate the team to generate leads, maintain customers, renew contracts, and build client relationships. You will build forecasts, set targets, and develop key go-to-market initiatives to improve sales effectiveness.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily operations of the sales department.
- Provides operational command of the sales team through forecast accuracy and reporting. Maintains and promotes a successful and positive work environment.
- Creates plans for meeting sales goals, contract renewals, individual sales quotas, and expectations for each member.
- Continuously builds, trains and mentors a team of salespeople to meet and exceed quota.
- Motivates and encourages team to ensure sales objectives are met.
- Manages team performance against sales forecasts and quotas using reports and CRM tools.
- Handles and resolves customer service issues.
- Has a strong knowledge of all products and services the company sells.
- Monitors daily activity of each member making sure there is regular communication with primary contacts for each account.
- Administers CRM and quoting tools.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales goals and strategies.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- Inside and outside sales experience is required.
- At least two years of sales management experience.
- At least three years of relevant experience required, preferably in telecom, technology, managed services, SaaS, UCaaS, VoIP, or related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required.
